heydiga, Audi, SEAT, Toyota and Triumph: what the press said and what heydiga does in a dealership

Between March and April 2026, several outlets ran headlines saying that heydiga is partnering with, or signing agreements with, Audi, SEAT, Toyota and Triumph. In a dealership, heydiga's AI receptionist answers every call, separates sales from aftersales and leaves the test drive or the workshop appointment booked. Before you choose one, check what it does in yours.

  • A dealership has two phones in one: the sales line and the workshop line.
  • Calls come in while the team is busy with a customer or a car.
  • What helps is a call that ends in an appointment, a test drive or a clear note for the team.
  • With several sites, each one needs its own diary and opening hours.
  • A negotiation, a complaint or a technical case always goes to a person on the team.

What has the press said about heydiga and the car brands?

That heydiga is partnering with Audi, SEAT, Toyota and Triumph, according to headlines in three outlets.

  • Europa Press, 24 March 2026: its headline says heydiga is partnering with Audi, SEAT, Toyota and Triumph.
  • La Sexta, 28 March 2026: its headline says heydiga, a Spanish startup, is partnering with Audi, SEAT, Toyota and Triumph.
  • El Referente, 3 April 2026: its headline says heydiga has signed agreements with Audi, SEAT, Toyota and Triumph.

The links are in the sources section and on heydiga's press page. This guide adds nothing to those headlines: from here on, what counts is what the product does, according to its own pages.

Why does the phone matter so much in a dealership?

Because that is where workshop appointments, test drives and enquiries from people who want to buy begin.

Callers want an answer now: they ask for a workshop slot, change an appointment, ask how their car is getting on or whether a model is available. If nobody answers, that call ends without an appointment. And the call comes in just when the adviser is with another customer, the workshop is flat out or a delivery is under way.

With several sites it gets more complicated: each one has its own diary, opening hours and team, and they all have to stay consistent with one another.

What should an AI receptionist do in a dealership?

Always answer, work out whether the call is about sales or aftersales, and leave the next step done.

What happensWhat it should do
Someone calls about a workshop appointmentBook it according to the workshop's real workload and the type of job
A customer calls about the status of their carRecognise them and tell them where things stand
They ask about prices, lead times or what a service includesAnswer with the information the dealership has loaded
A sales lead comes in after hoursCapture the model, budget and timeframe, and leave a note for the team
They want to test-drive a carBook the test drive around the salesperson's diary and the car's availability
They ask for something that needs judgement (a negotiation, a complaint, a technical case)Pass the call to a person with the summary ready

How does it work across several sites?

Each site keeps its own diary, opening hours and team, and everything is visible in a single dashboard.

According to heydiga's franchised dealerships page, each site can have its own line or share a number that distributes the calls. There are two ways to use it. In “backup mode”, the AI receptionist only picks up missed calls and calls that come in after hours. In “front-line mode”, it answers the main number and passes complex cases to the team. The page does not say which plan allows bookings across sites, so ask before you sign up.

Which calls have to go to a person?

The ones that call for judgement, trust or a decision.

The AI receptionist handles itIt goes to the team
Workshop slots and reschedulingA negotiation
The status of the carA technical case
Questions about lead times, loaded prices and servicesA complaint
Capturing the lead and booking the test driveA customer who would rather speak to someone on the team

How do you test it before signing up?

With your real workshop software and diary, noting down how each case ends.

  1. A workshop appointment for a type of job that takes longer than another.
  2. An enquiry about the status of a car.
  3. A sales lead after hours.
  4. A test drive with the salesperson who handles that model.
  5. Two calls at once.
  6. A question that has to go to a person.
  7. The workshop software or the CRM not responding: the appointment cannot be treated as confirmed.

That last rule applies to any provider, heydiga included. If you want to compare options, see the six AI receptionist options for garages and car dealerships.

Frequently asked questions

Does the dealership have to change its number?

No. heydiga's franchised dealerships page says “Keep your number”. You explain how the business works, connect the workshop software and the CRM, and divert the phone.

Does it handle sales and aftersales on the same number?

Yes. It separates them from the first sentence and sends each call to the right department.

Can a group with several sites use it?

Yes: each site can have its own line or share a number, with its own diary, opening hours and team. Everything is visible in one dashboard. The page does not say which plan includes bookings across sites: ask in the demo.

What is an AI voice agent and how is it different from an AI receptionist?

It is the same tool under another name. “AI voice agent” is the term people search for. “AI receptionist” is what heydiga calls it, because it does a receptionist's job: it answers, resolves, books and passes to a person whatever needs judgement.

Is there a lock-in?

No. The pricing and digamotor pages say “No lock-in”, with prices shown excluding VAT.
