How much does an AI receptionist cost in Spain?

In Spain, an AI receptionist costs from €49 a month excl. VAT, the price of Diga Lite with 200 minutes of conversation. The price goes up with the minutes, with the plan's features and with conversational WhatsApp, which heydiga charges for separately. If you work on your own, the sensible move is to start with the cheapest plan that books into your calendar.

How is an AI receptionist charged?

In four ways, and the one you choose decides what you pay when there are more calls than you expected.

How much does each heydiga plan cost and what does it include?

Four plans, from €49 to €279 a month excl. VAT and with no lock-in; each one adds features to the one before.

Source: heydiga.com/en/pricing, read on 29 October 2026. The page does not give the price of an extra minute. Its FAQ says heydiga does not cut calls off when you go over your minutes. It warns you before you reach the limit and reviews with you whether moving up a plan makes sense.

What pushes the price up?

Four things: minutes, features, conversational WhatsApp and the contract terms.

  • Minutes. heydiga only counts the time the agent spends talking to someone, on incoming and outgoing calls. An attempt that nobody answers does not count. If each call lasts two minutes on average, 200 minutes come to about 100 calls a month; this is an example, not a heydiga figure.
  • Features. Connecting your sector's software and sending reminders start at Diga Start. The waiting list and reports, at Diga Growth.
  • Conversational WhatsApp. Charged separately, €39 a month on any plan, with 200, 500, 1,000 or 1,500 conversations depending on the plan. WhatsApp notifications are included in all of them.
  • Contract and set-up. heydiga has no lock-in, and plan changes apply from the next billing cycle. Its pricing page and its FAQ do not mention a set-up fee. Guides by other providers cite set-up fees of €200 to €800 (Nolam, updated 25 June 2026): ask before you sign up.

Before comparing two prices, also ask:

  • How the billed duration is counted: by the second or by each minute started.
  • Whether your phone operator charges for forwarding the calls. We explain it in how to use an AI receptionist without changing your number.
  • How many calls it can handle at the same time.
  • What happens to your data and your number if you cancel.

Which affordable AI receptionist should I choose if I work alone?

For a sole trader, Diga Lite: €49 a month excl. VAT, with booking into your calendar and 200 minutes.

You are with a client and the phone rings. With Diga Lite, heydiga answers, checks your calendar, gives the appointment and lets you know; if you don't use any booking software, heydiga gives you a calendar. It is the only heydiga plan with a “Start free” button; the page does not say how long the trial lasts. IONOS advertises one month free for a limited time.

What Diga Lite does not include:

  • Your sector's software (Booksy, Koibox…) can be connected from Diga Start, €99.
  • Reminders by WhatsApp and by call, which help with clients who don't turn up, also start at Diga Start.
  • Conversational WhatsApp costs €39 more: Diga Lite with WhatsApp comes to €88 a month excl. VAT.
OptionPrice a month (excl. VAT)What it includesLimit
Diga Lite (heydiga)€49200 minutes; books into your calendar; WhatsApp notificationsNo sector software and no reminders
Flex (IONOS)€3930 calls; phone assistantIts table does not include booking appointments on this plan (Flex Pro, at €69, does)
Autónomo (Recepcionista.com)€99200 minutes; 1,000 WhatsApp messagesIts pricing page does not mention calendar bookings, and you cannot sign up from it

Read on each provider's page on 29 October 2026. If your calendar already lives in Booksy or Koibox and you want the appointment to land there, look at Diga Start. If you only want someone to answer and let you know, IONOS Flex is the cheapest in the table.

And how much does a person cost?

Much more, but they don't do the same job. Spain's statutory minimum wage for 2026 is €1,221 a month in 14 payments (twelve monthly ones plus two extra), €17,094 a year. It is set by Real Decreto 126/2026, a royal decree published in the BOE, Spain's official gazette, on 19 February 2026. It is the floor for a gross salary: it does not include the employer's social security contributions or what your sector's collective agreement pays.

Diga Lite costs €588 a year excl. VAT (€49 times 12 months). The comparison is about scale, not savings. A person looks after customers on the premises and handles whatever calls for judgement. The AI receptionist answers the repetitive calls and the ones that come in when nobody can pick up. Nor does it replace that person.

Where heydiga fits

It fits if you want a public price, no lock-in and the appointment placed straight in your calendar. The AI receptionist from digalook works with Booksy and Koibox; see the plans and pricing for each plan and its features.

Nothing to install, no change of software and no change to your number: you forward your phone and heydiga starts answering. Its limit: the extra minute has no published price. Ask about it if you think you will go over.
